2012 Calendar of UNITAR’s e-Courses on International Law is now available online
December 2011, Geneva, Switzerland – UNITAR’s International Law Programme has published the list of e-courses scheduled to run in 2012. The course calendar for 2012, which is currently accessible here, includes among others a new e-Course on the Law of International Organizations.
Over the past several years UNITAR has successfully delivered and implemented online training in International Law. In order to respond to the increasing demands of practitioners and law professionals, UNITAR’s International Law Programme (ILP) strives to constantly develop and improve its e-course catalogue. In the upcoming year of 2012, ILP thus continues to offer already established e-courses such as the e-Course on the Law of Treaties and the Series of e-Courses on International Environmental Law, and additionally, will launch a new e-course on the Law of International Organizations as well as the French version of the e-Course on Introduction to International Environmental Law.
The overall goal of the new e-Course on International Organizations is to provide comprehensive knowledge of the key issues of the Law of International Organizations that is necessary to understand their role and position in the contemporary legal order.
The e-learning courses offered by ILP are fee-based courses; however the fee structure is designed for the participation of students from a wide range of countries. Thus, reduced fees are available for participants from least developed countries, developing countries and countries with economies in transition.
From 2012, participants in the ILP’s e-learning courses can benefit from UNITAR’s new payment system, which allows course fee payments by credit card.
