All Programme Areas

Countries interested to apply for UNITAR assistance for any of the ongoing programme areas under the Chemicals and Waste Management Programme are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to UNITAR. The letter should come from a lead agency responsible for chemicals management, and be supported by other Ministries and stakeholder groups. Based on the letter and supporting documentation, UNITAR will explore if resources are available to support the request. In the case that resources are not available, UNITAR will explore with partners and possible donors if resources can be mobilised for future support. With regard to UNITAR assistance related to the Stockholm Convention, where relevant countries may wish to also contact their National Implementation Plan GEF Implementing Agency.
