The “Regional Workshop on Chemical Hazard Communication and GHS Implementation for the Arab Region”, took place in Alexandria, Egypt from 30 October - 2 November 2006. The purpose of the workshop was to discuss experiences with chemical hazard communication in the Arab region and consider concrete measures related to GHS implementation. The workshop was organized through collaboration of the Government of Egypt, UNITAR and ILO, with financial support from the Government of Switzerland.
