UNITAR ICCM2 Side Event: Will SAICM successfully move from enabling activities to meaningful implementation? Country experiences and identification of future needs, 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. Wednesday, 13 May 2009

ICCM participants are invited to an open and inter-active discussion regarding the future priorities and needs to successfully move SAICM from enabling activities to implementation in the post-ICCM2 period. The side-event will also provide an opportunity to hear experiences from four countries (Belarus, Mongolia, Panama and Tanzania) that have pilot tested development of an Integrated National Programme for the Sound Management of Chemicals and Waste to support national SAICM implementation.
