UNITAR course was a new experience that provided me with the opportunity to share views with my colleagues from variant countries all around the world especially through the discussion board and forums. This course was more than what I expected from a simple on-line training course. I believe that the 6 theoretical and practical modules as well as the other materials and introduced articles were well written by the experienced and skilled scholars and trainers and the course was well organized.

I was studying with a great enthusiasm, I was waiting impatiently for the discussion board questions, then was the discussion with other fellows and answers and explanations for our trainers. At the end of the Course it was mentioned that it is very difficult to be a chairman of the Conference but there was a suggestion for us also to act as a "chairman" during some kind of meetings and it was a good idea for starting. But, you can not even imagine, that at the end of the Course I was elected as a vice-chairman of one international working group!

Sincerely, I can say without hesitation that my participation to this UNITAR’s first on-line course is one of the best experiences of my diplomatic studies and career. Before the course, I thought I was a giant. During the course I realized I was a dwarf. After, I believe I became wise. This UNITAR’s training provided me with a relevant knowledge which is more than certain face-to-face workshops I followed.

Participating in this UNITAR e-learning course has been an invaluable experience that has far exceeded my expectations. The thoughtful discussions and the active engagement by such a diverse group of participants is truly a testimony to the quality and commitment of UNITAR’s “e-Learning support team”, including the dedicated trainers. The course content has very real applications and I have been amazed at how often I refer to this course in my daily life. Many thanks, UNITAR!

The course utilized a unique blend of formal and informal teaching tools, real-life situations, and afforded the opportunity for participants from varying backgrounds and cultures to interact and exchange experiences. We benefited not only from the knowledge of the tutors in responding to the several questions posed but also for their ability to provoke further discussion and analysis by the participants themselves. I have no doubt that this training has equipped me with additional skills that I can apply in my professional career.

This course was a genuine learning experience. It offered challenging and rewarding modules and additional resources, and a peer group comprising people from all over the world. The tutors’ comments on the discussion board postings suggested real engagement with the participants’ work. I have acquired some knowledge and skills that continue to impact positively in my present line of work and I would recommend this course to anyone.
