The Institute's much appraised e-learning course on multilateral conferences and diplomacy has begun today, with more than 150 participants from over 60 countries taking part in this global learning experience. Conducted over six weeks and in partnership with the Diplomatic Academy of South Africa and the Instituto Matias Romero of the Mexican Foreign Ministry, the course will introduce participants to the formal and informal processes of multilateral conferences, resolution drafting, interventions, negotiation and reporting and conference preparations. The course includes weekly assessments, in addition to interactive discussion boards, online videos and cases. The course will be offered a second time this year during the fourth quarter.
