The UNITAR New York Office is pleased to announce the briefing on the fourth meeting of the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD), Mexico 2010, co-sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Mexico, and part of the Migration and Development Seminar Series jointly organized with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the MacArthur Foundation. The half-day briefing will be held on 14 October 2010, from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

 

In preparation of the GFMD IV, this briefing will inform diplomats and other relevant stakeholders in New York on its modalities and the status of preparations, including its objectives and expected outcomes. It will also inform the audience about the Civil Society Days to be held before the official GFMD meeting starts.
