UNITAR Office in New York offers its Diplomatic Training and Lecture Series
From February to December 2016, UNITAR NY Office will deliver eleven (11) Diplomatic Training Courses and five Lecture Series on the topics of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. They are aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding of the United Nations System, its organs and procedures, as well as strengthening skills to facilitate efficient participation on negotiations, resolutions and the work of the main bodies of the UN. Participants will have the possibility to choose from a variety of half day, one-day and two-day courses during this period. UNITAR New York has also created special lectures related to the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals as well as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, (e.g. international migration, governance, journalism, human rights, etc.)
