UNITAR Concludes First Edition Of Its Executive Diploma In Diplomatic Practice

9 - 10 June 2016, Geneva, Switzerland – On 9 and 10 of June, UNITAR held a training workshop on Leadership, the 10th and final training module of its Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice. Over the course of the two days, and under the guidance of trainer Mr. Jérome L’Host, participants engaged in spirited discussions on the various types of leadership styles and how to become a more effective leader in their various fields.

Having followed a series of workshops on various topics such as Negotiation Skills and Techniques, Economic Diplomacy, and Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette, the candidates of UNITAR’s Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice were unanimous in praising the quality of the training, with all of them stating that they would suggest the workshop to a colleague.  At the end of the training, participants were invited to a formal farewell reception, presided by UNITAR’s Executive Director, Mr. Nikhil Seth.

The Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice was launched for the first time in September 2015, and is the first of its kind specifically designed for the Geneva diplomatic community. With the great success of this first edition, UNITAR looks forward to organizing the second edition which starts in September 2016.
