Register now! e-Course on Introduction to Sustainable Consumption and Production in LAC

10 August 2017, Geneva, Switzerland - Transitioning towards Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) is key to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Agenda. The SCP aims to promote resource and energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, and the provision of basic services, green and decent jobs and a better quality of life for all. This e-learning course “Introduction to SCP in LAC” aims to provide policy makers and other stakeholders with an introduction to SCP, as an approach to enabling sustainable societies in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region. The course also presents challenges and opportunities for SCP policies in the LAC region, as well as practical examples of approaches, tools and indicators for SCP.

The pilot edition will take place from 2 October to 24 November 2017.  

Participation in the course only requires a basic internet connection and a total of 32 learning hours over an 8-week period (4 hours per week). For more information on the course structure, methodology and learning objectives, please consult the course flyer in English and in Spanish).
