Fake/fraudulent vacancy announcement and offers of employment
It appears that UNITAR has been mentioned in some false “letters of offer” being fraudulently circulated either via Internet, email, fax or regular mail on behalf of other organizations. The following paragraph, or slightly modified, is systematically part of such letters.
“Participate in a paid month long orientation/ training at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) New York. “
UNITAR wishes to advise the public in unconditional terms that the Institute is not concerned either by the fictitious training proposed nor by such fraudulent employment offers.
