Background
Building upon the success of the UNITAR Hiroshima Office Diplomatic Training Series to date, this course will examine the theories and practice behind successful leadership and their relevance to project management and diplomacy.
Event Objectives
This course will:
- Enhance participants knowledge of leadership;
- Outline the characteristics of effective leaders;
- Provide skills useful for project management;
- Describe state-of-the-art strategic leadership and project management.
Learning Objectives
This course will enable participants to identify differing leadership styles and evaluate their efficacy with regard to project management. Participants will also be able to integrate such to develop relationships and build team networks throughout the life-cycle of given projects. At the end of the course, participants will be able to recommend successful strategies and action for leadership within the public sector.
