Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, the participants should be able to:

  • Understand the ideal public procurement process and the global impact of corruption;
  • Identify corruption risks at various stages of public procurement process;
  • Use reasonable judgment to detect the existence of corruption in the procurement chain and determine its gravity;
  • Analyse the initiatives of private and public sector in curbing corruption through reshaping of procedures;
  • Propose sound procurement measures, business integrity management and anti-corruption program that should be implemented to combat corruption in public procurement.
