О мероприятии

During the last 50 years, the relevance of public international law in the international arena has steadily grown. In recent years the number of international courts that have been created also increased resulting in the fragmentation of international law, both procedural and substantial. The growing importance of the international judicial system implies that it is indispensable for senior-level government officers working in the areas of international law and international justice to fully familiarize themselves with the work of the existing international judicial institutions. This study visit will explore the existing international courts and tribunals and address both institutional and procedural aspects as well as a number of theoretical and practical issues relating to their creation, structure, functioning, jurisdiction and competence.
