France Supports the Organization of Youth Climate Dialogues
10 October 2016, Geneva, Switzerland - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France recently announced that it will financially contribute to the UN CC:Learn programme, in order to support the organization of Youth Climate Dialogues between French schools and schools from UN CC:Learn partner countries.

UN CC:Learn is currently organizing three Youth Climate Dialogues with French schools in 2016-2017, the first of which will take place between the Ferney-Voltaire school in France, and the Trinity college Nabbingo in Uganda. The two others will take place in Ethiopia, one of them with a school in a refugee camp.
Youth Climate Dialogues are exchanges where youth from different perspectives get to discuss how climate change impacts them and work together to find solution. These dialogues respond directly to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, in particular Article 12 on climate change education.
