GLH Worldwide Partners: Colombia
On 27 Feb., 2014, a 2nd generation Camphor of Hiroshima A-bombed tree was planted at the Eafit University new campus in the city of Medellin with more than 100 people participating in the ceremony. There was attendance from the university community as well as participants of the Third National Congress of the Colombia International Studies Association (Redintercol) .
September 9, 2013, The pictures below, taken on Sept. 9, 2013, are saplings now accustomed to the tropical climate of Cali. The saplings are planned to be transplanted into the open soil in three locations in the city: Valle del Lili Hospital, Colombo-Japanese Society and our university. All three locations have gardeners among their staff, which is essential for this initial stage.They plan to have official ceremonies on August 6, 2014.
