Seminar Series on Training Methodologies and Training of Trainers (ToT)

The link between capacity-building and development is well recognized. While fundamental theories of education, vocational training and capacity-building often overlap, large differences exist between adult professional learning and academic education or between institutional and individual capacity-building. UNITAR’s mandate is thus to continuously investigate the inner and outer mechanisms of training. This Seminar Series builds on UNITAR’s work around the world by bringing together governmental and academic experts and institutions working in development projects and capacity-building. The Series aims at reviewing best-practices and developing manuals for capacity-building, with useful tips and real case studies. These will be published and shared with all interested partners in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
