Conducted on site near two unique wetlands (the Kushiro Wetland and Lake Akan, both listed as Ramsar Sites), and in partnership with the Kushiro International Wetland Centre (KIWC), this series emphasizes the link between integrated water and ecosystem management. It focuses on the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable use of watershed basins in the Asia-Pacific region.
