President Toshimasa Asahara and Tetsuhiro Takeuchi, Head of Administrative Department visited the UNITAR Hiroshima Office on 29 May. Nassrine Azimi, Director, welcomed them. Areas of past, present and future cooperation between HU and UNITAR were discussed, such as joint activities in the area of peace and security, and existing scientific and technical contributions of HU to UNITAR's programmes in World Heritage Management and Sea and Human Security.
