Information Session

"Hiroshima Initiative towards a Comprehensive Security for Seas and Oceans"

The Information Session in Vietnam was organized in cooperation with the World Conservation Union (IUCN) Viet Nam Office and with the support of one of UNITAR alumni.

Dr. Gunnar Kullenberg (link to UNITAR HO advisors) presented the Hiroshima Initiative towards a Comprehensive Security for Seas and Oceans, to call for actions and discussions to improve the governance and management of the seas and oceans (link to The Hiroshima Initiative) .

The participants then discussed the initiative in the Vietnamese contexts and made plans for further in-country (capacity development) actions.
