Global and Regional TrainingGlobal and Regional Training and Capacity Development Activities The Global and Regional (or Sub-Regional) Training Activities are intensive and interactive courses on various international law topics, a candidate selection process, disbursement of grants, etc. The duration of these activites is two-three weeks, and the course content is chosen according to regional needs and priorities. In addition, resource persons are selected from regional specialists and the training programme exclusively targets nationals from countries of the same region.
When organizing and setting up this type of training course, UNITAR especially privileges partnerships with government authorities of the host country, regional organizations and academic institutions. |
