26 April 2013, Moscow, Russia. – For the second year in a row now, UNITAR has teamed up with MGIMO University (Moscow State Institute of International Relations) to deliver a comprehensive week-long course in the area of international law. The course aims to equip mid and junior level government officials with practical knowledge and skills, as well as a solid theoretical basis in a select area of particular relevance for the CIS region.

16 October 2012, Geneva, Switzerland - UNITAR and the University of Geneva have joined their respective expertise for developing a new course on International Water Law which is now open for applications. Population growth, climate change and economic development place increasing demand on Earth’s finite supplies of freshwater resources. Given this context, knowledge of principles and international norms that govern the use, management and protection of freshwater resources is necessary for sustainable development as well as avoiding conflicts arising from water use and sharing. August 2012, Geneva, Switzerland – UNITAR’s International Law Programme has recently published the list of e-courses scheduled to be run during the second semester of 2012. The course calendar for the upcoming semester is currently accessible here. It comprises among others seven e-learning courses in English, four e-courses in Spanish and one in French. More French courses have been already scheduled to be launched in the year 2013.
