CIFAL Durban (South Africa) trains local authorities in Anglophone Africa on good governance and anti-corruption, basic urban services, gender and local leadership, and environmental management. Established in 2004 with eThekwini Municipality, the CIFAL is now aiming to strengthen its expertise and partnerships for new trainings on youth employment, local job creation strategies, housing and urban renewal. It offers a series of regional and national training events on sustainable solutions to broker partnerships between local authorities.
