Le Programme de Coopération Décentralisée (DCP) de l’UNITAR offre une formation innovante visant à renforcer la capacité des autorités gouvernementales et des dirigeants de la société civile à contribuer à la promotion du développement soutenable. Les programmes de formation du DCP servent de plate-forme pour échanger des connaissances et faciliter la coopération entre les décideurs des différents niveaux de gouvernement, la société civile et le secteur privé. La formation du DCP couvre une variété de sujets concernant le développement soutenable et est livrée dans différentes formes comprenant cours en face-à-face, e-learning et programmes éducatifs approfondis et activité d’apprentissage mixte.


La portée du DCP

Le DCP jouit d’une présence mondiale considérable à travers ses sièges à Genève, field office à  Port HarcourtITCCO centre à Antwerp et le réseau mondial de 10 centres CIFAL, en Afrique, en Asie, en Europe, en Amérique et aux Caraïbes.

UNITAR’s training Centre for Asia-Pacific - CIFAL Jeju, convened 17 government officials and civil society representatives from 11 countries from Asia-Pacific and the U.S. Government for a 5-day workshop on “Enhancing a Victim-Centered Approach: Identification, Assistance, and Protection of Trafficking Victims in the Asia-Pacific Region”. CIFAL Jeju in partnership with the Regional Support Office of the Bali Process (RSO) hosted the event in Jeju from 17-24 March.

9 April 2014, Quito, Ecuador - UNITAR’s Decentralized Cooperation Programme, with the support of the Municipality of Quito and the University San Francisco de Quito, delivered last week a briefing session on the Post-2015 Development Agenda. 21 March, 2014 Merida, Mexico – CIFAL Merida in partnership with Merida International Airport inaugurated the 9th International Training Seminar on Hurricane Preparedness focusing on the theme “Revitalization of Airport Services". More than 70 experts and airport authorities from Mexico, North and South America gathered in the city of Merida, Mexico to share experiences and good practices on how to be better prepared when hurricanes strike, especially in vulnerable areas near the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
