Le Programme de Coopération Décentralisée (DCP) de l’UNITAR offre une formation innovante visant à renforcer la capacité des autorités gouvernementales et des dirigeants de la société civile à contribuer à la promotion du développement soutenable. Les programmes de formation du DCP servent de plate-forme pour échanger des connaissances et faciliter la coopération entre les décideurs des différents niveaux de gouvernement, la société civile et le secteur privé. La formation du DCP couvre une variété de sujets concernant le développement soutenable et est livrée dans différentes formes comprenant cours en face-à-face, e-learning et programmes éducatifs approfondis et activité d’apprentissage mixte.


La portée du DCP

Le DCP jouit d’une présence mondiale considérable à travers ses sièges à Genève, field office à  Port HarcourtITCCO centre à Antwerp et le réseau mondial de 10 centres CIFAL, en Afrique, en Asie, en Europe, en Amérique et aux Caraïbes.

01 September, 2014, Jeju, Republic of Korea - CIFAL Jeju hosted its fourth training for youth under the theme “Nature, Culture, and the Youth” from 12 to 14 August. The three-day training gathered students from the United States, China and Japan. The event was part of a series of workshops aimed at engaging youth as a main actor of the future of sustainable development.

27 August 2014, Davos, Switzerland – In the framework of the fifth International Disaster and Risk Conference (IDRC) held in Davos from 24-28 August 2014, UNITAR hosted a special session on “Enhancing Urban Resilience”. The fifth IDRC, organized by the Global Risk Forum, gathered hundreds of DRR practitioners from public and private entities ranging from academia, to governments, international agencies and insurance companies.

20 August 2014, Almaty, Kazakhstan - A second group of Afghan officials from the Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs are currently attending the first module of the joint UNITAR-Graduate Institute Executive Master’s Degree in Development Policies and Practices (DPP), which started on July 28. Classes are taking place in Almaty at KIMEP University, a prestigious academic partner in this initiative.
