Rabih El-Haddad is the Manager of the Multilateral Diplomacy Programme of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). His work includes developing and delivering training on the United Nations system with a focus on the multilateral working environment at Geneva. Mr. Haddad has been monitoring United Nations reform efforts, and is also closely involved in the Institute’s training in areas related to the protection of human rights and the work of the Human Rights Council. Emily Fraser is a Specialist at the Multilateral Diplomacy Programme of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), working in the field of Climate Change and Environmental Diplomacy. Her work includes the development and delivery of training in the field of Climate Change Diplomacy with a focus on the multilateral policy making and negotiation processes, particularly under the UNFCCC. Patricia Martín de Briones is a Consultant at the Multilateral Diplomacy Programme (MDP) of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). She is in charge of the preparation and implementation of the e-Learning curricula, especially in the fields of multilateral diplomacy, United Nations System, skills development and environmental diplomacy. She was also the focal point for a great number of training activities aimed at the diplomatic community in Geneva on leadership, negotiation skills and diplomatic protocol. Marie-Hélène Guillerm joined UNITAR’s Multilateral Diplomacy Programme in March 2010. She holds a dual Master degree in International Relations and Cooperation and Development from La Sorbonne University, Paris. During her studies, she specialized on topics related to capacity building in developing countries, regional and trade diplomacy. Jonathan Hooker is an Individual Contractor for the Multilateral Diplomacy Programme at UNITAR. He is a French-British binational and a graduate from the Institute of Political Studies (Institut d'Etudes Politiques - "Science Po") of Aix-en-Provence holding a Masters degree in International Relations and Affairs. He acts as main focal point for the Programme's Core Diplomatic Training (CDT) activities delivered in Geneva and Vienna, and currently leading the development of a new series of trainings in Water Diplomacy. Evelyne De Mevius has joined MDP as a trainee and will stay until the end of August. Evelyne holds a Masters degree in Philosophy and a Postmasters degree in European Studies from the Free University of Brussels. She has recently been working for the Boghossian Foundation in Brussels as a specialist of the Armenian Question. Kirsten Bjoedstrup Jensen is working with the development and delivery of e-Learning courses. She is passionate about gender issues and capacity building and is responsible for new initiatives to empower women in diplomacy. Kirsten holds a Master’s degree in Educational Studies and Cultural Encounters. She has worked as a facilitator at ActionAid’s Global Platform training centre in Kenya, and most recently as an International Campaign Officer for The Danish Family Planning Association in Copenhagen. Jennifer Hahn joined UNITAR in September 2012 as a DAAD Collaborator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Slavonic Studies and Economics and the Erasmus Mundus master’s degree “Crossways in European Humanities“ from the University of St Andrews, the University of Perpignan and the University of Tübingen. Jennifer gained work experience at a consultancy company in London as well as at the Foundation for German-Russian Youth Exchange in Hamburg. During her studies, Jennifer also worked on a research project carried out by the University of Tübingen. Jean-Marc Gonçalves Dias (Marco) s a French-Portuguese dual citizen. He graduated from the University of Montréal in Political Science and is currently enrolled in a Masters in Development Studies focusing in Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding at The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. As for the practical experience, he worked as Office Manager for a Canadian WebTV dedicated to positive news and social commitment. Farah Baddar is currently working for UNITAR’s Multilateral Diplomacy Programme. She is contributing to the coordination and facilitation of the e-Learning courses as well as assisting with UNITAR’s multifaceted projects. Manuela Dimuccio will work as an intern from March to July. Manuela has been studying languages and communication for enterprise and tourism in Italy and France at the University of Chambéry. Prior joining UNITAR, she has worked at the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) in Paris for 4 months. She is currently preparing her thesis on multilateral organisations.
