A Glossary of Terms for UN Delegates
The glossary includes over 700 terms, abbreviations and acronyms frequently heard at United Nations conferences. While targeting primarily the newly accredited multilateral delegate who may be unfamiliar with the wide array of UN-related terms and abbreviations, the glossary will no doubt be of equal assistance to other delegates, including scientific and technical experts from capitals, staff of the United Nations and other intergovernmental organizations, and representatives from non-governmental organizations.
The second edition of the English version will be released in June 2009, and with support from the Government of Spain, a Spanish version of the Glossary will also be published.
