Objectifs

This forum will be an intensive brainstorming gathering for Ministers in IT, senior diplomats in New York, high level representatives from ICT governance bodies within and outside the UN and select members of the private sector, academia, and civil society. It will be hosted in an intimate retreat setting just outside of New York City. The purpose will be to discuss the central role played by ICTs in assisting governments with strengthening democracies, furthering development and promoting good governance structures. The focus will be on tackling obstacles to implementing e-Strategies, particularly those facing developing countries.
