15-16 September 2009 - UNITAR has opened yesterday a briefing for the diplomatic community based in Geneva. This two-day event provides an overview of the structure and functioning of the United Nations system in Geneva as well as the privileges and immunities accorded to diplomats accredited to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.
 
The briefing is delivered by an experienced trainer from UNITAR and an expert from the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations Office at Geneva. The briefing takes place in conference room XI at the Palais des Nations.
