Technical Requirements

Minimum Hardware and Software Requirements for taking our e-Learning Courses

UNEP-UNCTAD-CBTF and UNITAR recommend the following as a minimum in hardware and software to take our e-Learning courses. Please consult your Network Administrator or Systems person to ensure that you have the following:
 

  • Platform: Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME, XP or Vista; MacOS 9 or MacOS X
  • Hardware: 64 MB of RAM, 1 G of free disk space
  • Software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader (download for free, if you don't have it yet)
  • Browser: Internet Explorer 4 or higher OR Netscape Navigator 4 or higher
  • Note: JavaScript & Cookies must be enabled.
  • Modem: 56K
