Minimum Hardware and Software Requirements for taking our e-Learning Courses
MEFMI and
UNITAR recommend the following as a minimum in hardware and software to take our e-Learning courses. Please consult your Network Administrator or Systems person to ensure that you have the following:
- Platform: Windows 98, 2000, NT, ME, XP or Vista; MacOS 9 or MacOS X
- Hardware: 64 MB of RAM, 1 G of free disk space
- Software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader (download for free, if you don't have it yet)
- Browser: Internet Explorer 4 or higher OR Netscape Navigator 4 or higher
- Note: JavaScript & Cookies must be enabled.
- Modem: 56K
In addition to the above basic hardware and software, participants must have access to the E-Views software to be able to complete this course.
