Report for New Creativity for Development Course Ready!

Crea4Dev report16 February 2017, Geneva, Switzerland - We are pleased to announce that the report for the Creativity for Developement Open Access Course is ready!  In the last quarter of 2016, UNITAR and UNCTAD, together with Asa Baako One Dance, Cirque du Monde, HATCH,Momentom Collective and UNISINOS delivered the course to raise awareness on the value of creativity an culture for socioeconomic development.

The course provided participants with an overview of the creative economy, touching upon concepts such as co-creations, creative cities and creative business. Participants’ feedback indicated their appreciation for the relevance of the course content, the video-based lessons as well as the additional resources.

UNITAR looks forward to further collaborating with UNCTAD on capacity building activities on the promotion of creative industries for sustainable development.
