REPORTS AND DOCUMENTATION
The Work Programme of UNITAR comes out every two years. It is the principal public information brochure of the Institute and is circulated widely by post and distributed at conferences worldwide. This year, for the first time, the brochure is available on line in PDF format. The Work Programme is not intended to be a catalogue of the upcoming programmes but rather a short description of the approaches and contents of UNITAR's training programmes.

The Statute of UNITAR is also available on PDF. This document constitutes the basis of UNITAR's legal existence, setting out the purposes and functions of the Institute as decided by the General Assembly resolution 1934 (XVII) of 11 December 1963 and taking into account amendments and revisions since then.

The Report of the Executive Director to the General Assembly is also produced every two years and is submitted to the attention of the Secretary-General. The report provides an account of the progress of the Institute's activities over the preceeding biennium. It is printed by the United Nations in New York and is translated into all six languages of the UN. The English version of the last report is available here in PDF format.

The UNITAR Report for the biennium 2004-2005 is also available in the other five official languages of the United Nations. They can be viewed in Word format below:
