2014 Achievements and Outlook for 2015

We started the year 2014 with a new Strategic Plan covering 2014 through 2017, in which new sets of Vision, Mission and Core Functions are defined. All of them are specified in our new website, which was also launched in 2014.

With the new Strategic Plan, our activities are more clearly defined in 5 thematic areas: Strengthen Multilateralism, Promote Economic Development and Social Inclusion, Advance Environmental Sustainability and Green Development, Promote Sustainable Peace and Improve Resilience and Humanitarian Assistance.

We ended a very busy year, in which we organized close to 480 training and learning activities benefiting more than 35,000 participants.  All of these activities are carried out by people you see in the picture above, with the support of our donors and our partners.

Here are a few examples of our key achievements in 2014 and outlook for 2015.
