Organizational structure

To better serve its mandate, UNITAR has optimized its organizational structure.

A Training Department now regroups the bulk of UNITAR’s operational activities. It is organized around three thematic units based on the rationalization of existing programmes: Diplomacy, Peace & Security; Environment; and Governance.

A Research Department has been put in place to streamline UNITAR’s research activities on knowledge system innovation and application of new technologies to training.
