This GDACS LIVE map integrates geo-spatial data from a range of sources to monitor flood waters in Pakistan after heavy rains starting in late July 2015. Particular focus is on information derived from satellite imagery and field data. Up-to-date and comprehensive satellite image derived flood analysis are displayed, and as photos from the field are taken using the UN-ASIGN smartphone app they will also be added. Additional supporting GIS data are also included on the map.

GDACS LIVE maps are provided by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Operational Satellite Applications Program (UNOSAT) hosted at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland. UNOSAT provides satellite imagery analysis and related geographic information to UN humanitarian and development agencies and their implementing partners.
