This map illustrates satellite-detected flood waters over the affected Department of Beni, Bolivia. Flood water analysis was conducted by change detection with ENVISAT-ASAR (WSM) radar scenes (150m) recorded on 12 Dec. 2005 & 3 February 2008. Data was collected by ESA in support of the Space Charter. This is a preliminary analysis & has not yet been validated in the field. Map scale for A3: 1:1,250,000; Projection : UTM Zone 20 South; Datum: WGS 1984
