This map illustrates the satellite-detected area affected by the Regiment Blindé Munitions explosion on 04 March 2012. A buffer of 1.3 sq km around the blast site has been placed as reference. Buildings appear to be severely damaged approximately 700m outside the buffer. This map also includes the designated No-Go zone in the blast area. This is a preliminary analysis & has not yet been validated in the field. Please send ground feedback to UNITAR / UNOSAT.
