Using satellite images acquired on the 22 February 2014 by the Pleiades satellite, UNOSAT reviewed the airport grounds and identified 7,789 structures. At least 7,746 are shelters and 43 are likely administrative support and other structures. The total area of IDPs occupies 29 ha as of 22 February 2014, and imagery also shows areas where terrain has been cleared and shelters have been relocated. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field. Please send ground feedback to UNITAR / UNOSAT.
