This map illustrates satellite-detected shelters and other buildings at the Garmawa IDP Camp in Ninawa Province, Iraq. This camp is 35 kilometres northeast of Mosul town and as of 30 June 2014, a total of 375 shelters were detected as well as 21 infrastructure and support buildings. Areas of improvised shelters and areas of shelters under construction are visible in the image. This is a preliminary analysis & has not yet been validated in the field.
