This map illustrates satellite-detected potentially damaged buildings in the area of Cox's Bazar international airport, in Khurushkul Union, Chittagong Division, and Bangladesh. The UNITAR-UNOSAT analysis used a Pleiades satellite image acquired the 01 June 2017 and could identify 725 potentially damaged structures within the area. Kindly note that the number of damaged structures could have been underestimated due to the characteristics of the images. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field. Please send ground feedback to UNITAR - UNOSAT.
