An earthquake of 6.5 Magnitude struck Philippines the 06 July 2017 08:03 UTC (16:03 local time) with an epicentre located 3 km NNE of Masarayao, Ormoc City Municipality of Eastern Visayas region in Philippines and a hypocentre at 10km depth. This shallow depth earthquake induced strong shake in the epicentral area and it was felt in Leyte and some other Islands of the Visayas archipelago.
