4 February 2019, Geneva, Switzerland - The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and its Executive Director, Mr. Nikhil Seth, welcomed ADEC Innovations’ CEO, Mr. James A. Donovan in its offices in Geneva, Switzerland. Discussions with the Division for Multilateral Diplomacy and other divisions were followed by the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding.

ADEC Innovations, as an impact investing company that designs, develops and delivers a diverse data management and technology portfolio of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Solutions, will prove to be a valuable partner for UNITAR. With a global force of over 3500 employees, their presence spans five continents – Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa and North America. They offer a wide range of solutions and consulting services across multiple fields, providing industry expertise in sustainability, environmental data services, knowledge management, data management, health information, and public-private partnerships.

UNITAR hopes that the signature of this Memorandum of Understanding will pave the way to a fruitful partnership between ADEC Innovations and UNITAR. Putting words into action, ADEC Innovations will provide technology support to UNITAR. Moreover, the two entities have identified thematic areas to explore for collaboration, which include capacity of the 2030 Agenda, strengthen multilateralism, promote economic development and social inclusion, advance environmental sustainability and green development.

UNITAR is pleased to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with an internationally recognized partner and is looking forward to the implementation of this innovative cooperation.
