CIFAL Newcastle is hosted by the University of Newcastle (UON) in Australia serving as a hub for the Asia Pacific region, leveraging UON's disciplinary strengths in areas such as disaster preparedness and reconstruction, sustainable development and urban resilience.
CIFAL Philippines is hosted by the University of the Philippines (UP) serving as a hub for the Asia-Pacific region, leveraging UP's disciplinary strengths in areas such as public policy, migration and development.

The CIFAL jointly with the UP and its Center for Integrative and Development Studies (CIDS) aims to enhance data on Philippine migration and contribute to develop sound public policies.

It will also serve as a hub for capacity building on how to implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at the local level.

CIFAL Saudi Arabia was established in 2022 in collaboration with Majmaah University which has a particular interest in promoting training activities related to economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability and encouraging academics, researchers, and specialists to play a greater role that contributes to achieving this vision.
CIFAL Shanghai delivers international and domestic training programmes in cooperation with various Ministries and local governments in China, aiming to promote international cooperation, learning, best practice exchange and investment in ICT-led projects.
CIFAL Singapore was established in 2023 and is the first such centre in Singapore to be affiliated with the United Nations’ principal training arm and will be sited at NTU Singapore. The Centre aims to strengthen the ability of individuals, institutions, and societies in the Asia Pacific countries to perform functions, solve problems, and set and achieve objectives sustainably, thus encouraging sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region.
CIFAL Tbilisi aims at providing a range of learning opportunities and facilitating knowledge sharing between CSO representatives, public servants, and leaders in the region to strengthen capacities for good governance and sustainable development.
CIFAL Victoria delivers training activities and research that build on UVic's commitments to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). It connects the region with the global community and supports international knowledge-sharing and partnerships.
UNITAR and the York University establish the International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL) in February 2020 within the premises of the University campus in Toronto, Canada.
