This is the online application form for the UNITAR Iraq Fellowship Programme - 2018 Cycle.

Before completing this form, please ensure you have prepared all the relevant documents. The required documents are outlined in the Call for Applications.

Applicant must meet all the conditions mentioned below: 

  • This programme is open only to Iraqi nationals.
  • Age group: Applicant must currently be in a junior- to mid-level position and be between 20 to 35 years old.
  • Areas of interest: Applicant must currently be in a position with relevance to youth leadership, project management, and/or entrepreneurship.
  • Education: Applicant must have minimum a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
  • Working Experience: Applicant must be a working professional with at least three (3) years of professional working experience. 
  • Qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Incomplete applications, or applications received after the final submission date, will not be examined. 
  • Please note that Candidates may be requested to submit additional information during the selection process.

I am aware this will require a time commitment of approximately 20 hours per month, in addition to attending all workshops. I am willing and able to dedicate the appropriate amount of time and attention to the Fellowship, as well as work within the rules and regulations of UNITAR. I will also behave in accordance with the law, rules, and financial regulations of UNITAR or any foreign country hosting workshops.
