4th UNITAR Tokyo Diplomatic Training Session: Rio+20 and the Green Economy
Launched in 2011, the Tokyo Diplomatic Training Series has thus far incorprated three successful training sessions held at United nations University in Tokyo. Diplomats accredited in Tokyo are welcome to apply for these focused training opportunities.
The Rio+20 and the Green Economy course seeks to examine the developments and proceedings of the recent Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil between 20 and 22 June 2012. Following on from this, it seeks to provide participants with an introduction to the green economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication.
