Brazil is undergoing transformations in the relationship between citizens, companies and government.  According to data from the Office of Investigation and Fight against Organized Crime, Brazil lost R $ 123 billion with corruption schemes. These losses, in addition to reducing investments in basic education or health, promote a lack of interest in investment in Brazil, impacting on the country's economic growth.

The Fiep System is committed to encouraging the socially responsible management of industries and fostering transparency and business competitiveness. In this sense, since 2013, in partnership with CIFAL Curitiba and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), it carries out actions that promote dialogue on ethics and transparency in the private sector and that evaluate the measures that must be taken to increase the importance of the theme in Brazil and in the world.

Concrete examples of this Fiep System commitment:

  • Active participation in the Anti-Corruption Working Group created by the Global Compact and which brings together organizations that are signatories to the Global Compact;
  • Debates and learning spaces on integrity, compliance, anti-corruption.

The meeting aims to encourage the exchange of experiences and information related to integrity and compliance with the objective of disseminating best practices among companies and, therefore, contributing to the advancement of compliance and integrity practices in business in the state of Paraná.

The course provides analytical tools through the Legal Risk and Compliance Management and CIFAL Curitiba, to stimulate the constitution of the Paranaense Compliance Network.

- Companies with activity in the state of Paraná that are interested in the exchange of information, experiences and good practices on integrity and compliance will be encouraged to participate in the Network.

- 4 to 6 annual Network meetings will be held.

Activities include, among others, the establishment of a network in Paraná, composed of industries and other interested organizations, for the exchange of experiences and good practices on integrity and compliance.

 This course is intended for decision-makers from enterprises, such as managers and directors in the compliance area.
