Trainers require skills to train others to contribute towards the achievement of the SDGs.

The seminar aims to equip trainers with skills to train others to build capacity toward the SDGs.

At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to align their local planning processes and strategies with the SDGs. Recognize and employ the principles for effective team management.

During the seminar participants were introduced to the most relevant fields of the process of localization such as awareness raising, linking strategies with the national level, alignment of strategic plans at the local level, supervision and monitoring of the localization processes and communication of archived results.

Learning activities include, among others presentations and site visits to Ithuba Centre at Blackburn Informal Settlement and Cornubia Housing Project, depicting projects the City has implemented in terms of development planning and management.

This seminar targets government officials and other stakeholders involved in the implementation of the SDGs.
