  • In the age of sustainable development goals (SDGs), KAIDEC and UNITAR Cifal-Jeju, as part of the annual International Development Cooperation Workshop, will organize a workshop on "Creation of Sustainable Jobs in the Age of SDGs".
  • The SDGs are a major agenda for the government's major policies and strategies for the private sector.
  • Through this seminar, we would like to think about the changes and opportunities that SDGs will bring in the solution for job creation, which is now becoming the most important agenda in Korean society.
  • In particular, we seek to find ways in which government and private sector efforts to achieve SDGs can be linked to sustainable job creation.

The training will include the following: (tentative)

  • topic 1:  SDGs and Job Creation
  • topic 2:  Job Creation System in overseas donor countries
  • topic 3:  Job Creation Direction and Issues
  • topic 4:  Job Creation through Sustainable Tourism
  • topic 5:  Case Study 

The workshop will be comprised of:

  • presentations and discussions
  • knowledge sharing among participants
  • technical visits to experience in sight

Central/local government officials and experts working in the areas of environment, energy, climate technology and other related areas.
