In Asia, where rapid urbanization and regional development are actively taking place, there is a growing need for sustainable development due to excessive energy use, deforestation, and poor quality of life.
Focusing on the sustainable development issues in Asia, we would like to have a chance to consider the various perspectives of countries, communities, experts, and civil society in three aspects of green governance, urban transformation, and development cooperation.
The training will include the following: (tentative)
- topic 1: Green Governance
- topic 2: Urban Transformation
- topic 3: Development Cooperation
The workshop will be comprised of:
- presentations and discussions
- knowledge sharing among participants
Central/local government officials and experts working in the areas of environment, energy, climate technology and other related areas.
